Copying Legend Views in Revit 2020: A New Feature
In Revit 2020, you can easily copy a legend view from one drawing and paste it into another.
To get started, select the legend view you want to copy and copy it to the clipboard.
Next, go to the Modify tab, find the Clipboard panel, click the Paste dropdown menu, and choose one of the following options:
- Paste from clipboard: Manually place the copied legend view onto a different drawing view.
- Align with selected view: Choose a drawing view from the current model to align the pasted legend.
- Align with current view: Paste the legend view aligned with the current drawing view.
- Align with the same position: Ideal for cutting a legend view and pasting it back in the exact same spot within the drawing view.
Additionally, you can copy a legend placed on one drawing view and paste it into other drawing views within the model.
