How to Modify Numerical Values in Dimension Annotations in Revit
When working with dimension annotations in Revit, there are times when the displayed dimension values need to differ from the actual measurements. Additionally, you might want to include specific text information alongside the dimensions. So, how can you modify the values shown in dimension annotations?
First, open the component that requires annotation.
Then, switch to the elevation view to create your dimension annotations.
For example, if you want to change the dimension to display as 158×9=1422, there are two approaches you can use:
① Add a prefix or suffix to the original number.
② Replace the dimension value entirely with custom text.
Both methods are also effective when using text-based annotations.
