When creating a construction simulation animation, start by grouping objects—ideally, collections of objects sharing the same name. Then, build a task hierarchy based on these groups to organize the workflow effectively.
It is recommended to use perspective animation to add depth and realism; otherwise, the view may appear flat and monotonous.
Separate architectural elements from structural components, and combine object animations to control the animation properties of individual or similar objects during the simulation.
When exporting to the NWC format from Revit, make sure to adjust the elevation settings. The default insertion point in Navisworks should align with the zero point in Revit, maintaining consistency between positive and negative coordinates.
