BIM Software – Flow Settings for Revit Vent Family
When customizing vent families, we typically add an instance parameter called “Traffic”. However, after loading the family into a project, you may notice that the flow parameters shown in the properties panel do not match those displayed on the options bar. Moreover, manually adjusting the flow parameters on the options bar has no effect.
This issue occurs because a crucial step is often overlooked during the family customization process. It is necessary to link the flow parameters of the connectors with the flow parameters defined within the family. Doing so ensures that the flow values remain consistent between these two locations.
