BIM Software: Early Drawing Processing When Using Revit
Today, most design firms and companies prefer using Tianzheng software for drafting because it produces drawings more quickly and complies with relevant standards. Since Tianzheng version 3 and above are widely used, many DWG files now contain embedded 3D information.
When linking these DWG files to Revit, you might notice unnecessary 3D lines and other clutter appearing in 3D or elevation views. To address this, it is recommended to convert the drawings to an earlier version of Tianzheng DWG format (the lower the version, the better) before linking them to Revit.
After converting the drawings to an older version, you will find that many unwanted lines and clutter are removed, resulting in cleaner and more manageable Revit views.
