Troubleshooting Square-Shaped Facade Headers in Revit

BIM Software Tip: Understanding Revit’s Issue with Square Facade Headings

When users first install Revit 2016 and open the building template, they may notice that the facade headings displayed are square in shape.

There are two common reasons for this occurrence:

First, if you have just installed Revit and opened the template, the issue likely stems from the template itself. For example, if you are not using a Chinese template but instead need the corresponding template for China, you will need to switch to the appropriate one. For detailed instructions on how to do this, please refer to the article Change the Default File Storage Path in Revit.

Second, it is also possible that the facade heading has been customized manually and replaced with a circular design, which can affect its appearance.
