How to Create Sloped Floor Slabs in Revit

BIM Software Tip: How to Create Diagonal Structural Floor Slabs in Revit

There are three common methods to create sloping structural floor slabs in Revit.

The first method involves using a slope arrow. Simply add a slope arrow along the boundary of the floor slab, as illustrated in the image below.

The second method requires drawing lines for parallel floor slabs and then specifying the Deviation from the reference point attribute value to define the slope.

The third method is used for a single floor slab. You draw lines, define the slope, and set the Slope attribute value accordingly. This method is typically applied when creating a floor slab with a downward slope, as shown in the example below.
