Understanding Revit's Built-In Shear Wall Features

BIM Software Tip: Using Built-in Wall Cutting in Revit

1. When frequently painting walls, you can easily trim the excess sections using Revit’s built-in tools.

2. Click on Built-in, then select Built-in Wall, followed by Wall.

3. Name the interior walls uniformly according to the project requirements or modeling standards.

4. Next, choose Hollow Cutting.

5. Finally, select the lines of the wall’s excess parts and cut them off to clean up your model.
