How to Hide Someone Else’s Workspace in the Central Model in Revit
When collaborating on a project using Revit, multiple users often work together on different disciplines within a central model. However, there are times when you may want to temporarily hide other users’ workspaces to focus on your own. So, how can you hide someone else’s workspace in Revit?
Follow these steps:
1. Open the central model, then go to the View tab, as shown below.
2. Click the Visibility/Graphics icon on the toolbar that appears.
3. In the dialog box that pops up, select the Worksets button from the menu bar.
4. Find the workset belonging to the user whose workspace you want to hide and click on it to access its Visibility Settings.
5. Under the visibility settings, click the dropdown arrow next to Use global settings (Visible).
6. From the dropdown menu, select Hide, then click OK to apply the changes.
This method allows you to hide other users’ models within their respective worksets, making it easier to focus on your own modeling tasks.
