Modifying a Model Using a Schedule in Revit
The parts list feature in Revit is incredibly powerful. Once you create a parts list, you can directly modify the model components by editing the fields within the schedule. In this article, we will share this useful technique with you.
First, use the view tiling feature to arrange your model and the schedule side by side. You can quickly do this by pressing the WT shortcut key.
By selecting and highlighting a row in the schedule, you can easily locate the corresponding window in the model.
You can also change the window type quickly by selecting a different option from the dropdown menu in the Type field.
Note that instance parameters such as window height and width cannot be modified directly in the schedule. However, you can adjust the Bottom Height value in the schedule to update the model accordingly.
