How to Organize Browser Settings in Revit
Wondering how to sort elevation views in Revit? You can easily customize the order of elevations to suit your workflow, making your project management more efficient. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to modify the sorting method for floor elevations.
First, go to the View tab and select Browser Organization from the user interface options.
Next, click New to create a custom browser organization for your elevation views.
Under the Filter tab, choose the drawing name to filter the relevant views.
In the Grouping and Sorting section, set the grouping criteria to the corresponding elevation categories. Then, select either ascending or descending order based on your preference for the sorting type.
After applying these settings, check the newly created elevation views to confirm the changes.
This process allows you to reorder the elevations effectively.
Additionally, each elevation view can be grouped together with its associated floor plan and ceiling plan, making navigation and identification much easier.
