Two Different Methods for Adding Materials in Navisworks Using Rendering Engines

Presenter Rendering Engine Method: In the Commonly Used tab, select the Presenter command to open the presenter rendering settings dialog box shown below. From the material library, choose the desired material and either drag it into the project’s material library or directly onto the object you want to apply the material to.

The result after adding the material is illustrated in the image below:

Autodesk Rendering Engine:

The material library and editing process for this rendering engine are similar to those in Revit. To add materials, go to the Commonly Used tab and select the Autodesk renderer. First, select the object whose material you want to replace, then choose the new material to apply.
