Configuring Revit Pipeline Connections
When designing pipelines in Revit, you may encounter situations where pipes of different diameters require different connection methods. How can we effectively set this up?
1. First, open the Pipe Type Editing dialog box and access the Routing System Configuration settings.
2. Within the piping system configuration dialog, create a new component connection method to accommodate the various connection types. Then, specify the connection ranges for different pipe diameters based on your project requirements, as illustrated in the figure below:
3. Click OK to exit the current dialog, and click OK again to close the type editing dialog.
4. When you draw the pipeline, you will notice that the connection method changes automatically depending on the pipe diameter.
