Registration Fees and Instructions for the 13th National BIM Skill Level Examination – 2018
Since September, BIM Building Network has been receiving numerous inquiries about the BIM Level Examination. Recently, we obtained an official notice from the Chinese Society of Graphic Design regarding the 13th National BIM Level Examination. We want to share this information with everyone promptly!
1. Exam Schedule
The 13th National BIM Skill Level Examination will include a materialization test. The Level 1 exam is scheduled for Saturday, December 8th, and the Level 2 exams for Architecture, Structure, and Equipment Design will take place on Sunday, December 9th. Both sessions will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
2. Registration Period and Deadline
Registration for the 13th National BIM Skill Level Examination is open now and will close on November 17th. This round covers Level 1 and Level 2 exams for Architecture, Structure, and Equipment Design majors, with a unified grading system implemented nationwide.
3. How to Register

4. Registration Fee
The national unified examination fee is 350 yuan per person.
Note: Candidates from economically disadvantaged areas in western China may be eligible for a 50% discount on the registration fee.
5. Important Exam Guidelines for the 13th National BIM Skill Level Examination
The 12th National BIM Skill Level Examination adopted a paperless format. Exam question packages will be distributed one hour before the exam starts, and candidates can enter the exam room only 20 minutes prior to the exam. The password to access the exam materials will be provided 5 minutes before the exam begins. Candidates arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be allowed to take the exam.
Cheating or causing disruption during the exam will result in a ban from future exams for one to two years, depending on the severity of the incident.
Additional Reminders from BIM Architecture Network
1. Each candidate must complete a registration form provided by BIM Architecture Network during registration.
2. Photo requirements: The photo must be 20-60 KB in size, with dimensions of 250×350 pixels. It should be a clear, close-up portrait against a white background without a hat, taken at a professional photo studio. The photo file should be named with the candidate’s ID number and saved in JPG format.
3. Candidates who were found to be identical (i.e., duplicate registrations) in the 12th exam round are not eligible to register this time. Candidates from remote western regions applying for the poverty discount must provide valid proof of financial hardship, which will be kept on file at the exam center.
4. After payment, candidates must send a photo of the original payment receipt to BIM Construction Network.
