Since September, the BIM Building Network has been receiving numerous inquiries regarding the BIM Level Examination. Recently, we obtained an official notice from the Chinese Society of Graphic Design about the 13th BIM Level Examination. We would like to share this information with everyone as soon as possible!

1. Exam Schedule

The 13th National BIM Skill Level Examination will be conducted in person. The Level 1 exam is scheduled for Saturday, December 8th, while the Level 2 exam for architecture, structural, and equipment design majors will take place on Sunday, December 9th. Both exams will be held nationwide from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

2. Registration Period and Deadline

Registration for the 13th National BIM Skill Level Examination is open now and will close on November 17th. This exam covers Level 1 and Level 2 in architecture, structural, and equipment design majors, with a unified grading system applied nationwide.

3. How to Register

1. Register directly on the Chinese Society of Graphic Sciences website: __AI_ST_URL_0__
2. Contact your nearest examination center for assistance.

4. Registration Fee

The national unified fee for the examination is 350 yuan per candidate.

Note: Candidates from disadvantaged backgrounds in remote western exam centers are eligible for a 50% discount on the registration fee.

5. Important Exam Instructions for the 13th National BIM Skill Level Examination

The previous 12th National BIM Skill Level Examination was paperless. Exam question compression packages will be distributed one hour before the exam starts, and candidates may enter the exam room only 20 minutes prior to the exam. The decompression password will be provided 5 minutes before the exam begins.

Latecomers arriving more than 15 minutes after the exam starts will be disqualified.

Any candidate caught cheating or disrupting the exam will face a ban from participating in the exam for one to two years, depending on the severity of the misconduct.

BIM Architecture Network Reminders for Candidates

1. Each candidate must complete a registration form provided by the BIM Architecture Network.
2. Photo requirements: size between 20-60 KB, dimensions 250 × 350 pixels, white background, bareheaded, clear close-up of the head, taken by a professional photo studio. The photo file must be in JPG format and named with the candidate’s ID number.
3. Candidates who were identified as identical in the 12th exam are not allowed to register for the 13th exam.
4. Exam centers in remote western regions require impoverished candidates to provide proof of poverty (to be archived at the exam center) to qualify for the fee discount.
5. After payment, candidates must submit a photo of the original remittance receipt to the BIM Construction Network.
