How to Showcase a Floor Model in 3D Using Revit

How to Display a Floor Model in 3D View with Revit

When working in a 3D view, Revit typically displays the entire model by default. However, there are times when you want to focus on a specific floor only. The common method involves enabling the section box in the 3D view, then dragging the blue arrow control handles to adjust the section box’s size. This controls which part of the model is visible. Unfortunately, this process can be cumbersome, slow, and challenging to precisely control.

Fortunately, by using the View Cube to adjust the model’s orientation, you can quickly and accurately isolate a particular floor.

Simply click on the desired floor within the View Cube to display it.
