How to Transfer Project Details in Revit
A new feature recently discovered allows you to transfer detailed lists between two projects in Revit. When working on projects, it’s common to transfer materials, system families, filters, schedules, and other elements from one project to another by using the “Transfer Project Standards” tool. But how exactly do you transfer schedules? Let’s use the window schedule as an example.
First, create a new project where you draw the walls and place doors and windows.
Once the walls, doors, and windows are drawn, you can immediately create a detailed window schedule.
After creating the window schedule, save the project—let’s call this “Project 1”. Then, create a completely new project and add walls, doors, and windows to it as well.

Note: Transfer the project details table as shown below. The reason this works is that the new project initially lacks the door and window components. Only after these components are created in the new project will the corresponding data appear in the detailed schedule.
