The deliverables for BIM applications in steel structure component processing should include the following: steel structure component processing models, detailed processing drawings, and relevant technical parameters along with installation requirements for the steel components.
According to provisions 3.0.6 and 8.1.4, BIM software designed for processing steel structural components should not only offer common functionalities but also support the following specialized features:
1. Batch planning management for prefabricated processing models, enabling production scheduling based on the processing plant’s capacity. This schedule should then be integrated back into the prefabricated processing models.
2. Batch extraction of part information from prefabricated processing models to create layout nesting files, along with generating material traceability data.
3. Generation of process files and workstation routing information aligned with the requirements of the process plan.
4. Management of version control and change tracking for drawing files, utilizing processing confirmation letters, change confirmation letters, and design documents, with feedback provided to the prefabricated processing model.
5. Transmission of process parameters, such as CNC codes, to CNC machining equipment in a standardized format.
6. Collection and organization of production progress, cost data, and quality traceability information during component production and quality acceptance stages, which can then be fed back into the prefabricated processing model.
