In construction supervision, BIM technology plays a crucial role by assisting construction teams in model review and design disclosure. This is achieved through the use of various models, such as construction drawing design models, detailed design models, and construction process models. Review records and design disclosures can be attached or linked directly to the relevant models for easy reference.
BIM should also be utilized across multiple aspects of construction supervision, including quality control, schedule management, cost control, safety management, engineering change control, and final acceptance. Throughout the construction process, supervision records should be associated with the corresponding models related to schedule, cost, quality, and safety management. Additionally, final acceptance records need to be linked to the completion acceptance model to ensure comprehensive documentation and oversight (as illustrated below).
