How to Set Roof Slopes in Revit

How to Set Up Slopes for Roofs in Revit

1. First, draw a flat roof on Level 2.

2. Assuming the centerline acts as the dividing line and slopes are created on both sides, set a reference plane. Use the Align tool and click on EQ to make the two desired line segments equal in length.

3. Next, add dividing lines to the roof and modify the sub-elements. For example, to create a 2% slope, calculate as follows: 1950 × 0.02 = 39.

This is how we set up the roof slope in Revit.
