How to Use the Built-in Family Library in Revit 2016 Chinese Version
The 2016 version of Revit does not include built-in family libraries by default, so manual installation is necessary. Additionally, users may need to install these libraries offline, which typically requires downloading them during the installation process. Slow internet speeds or lack of an internet connection can result in missing family libraries or templates. (Revit 2016 Installation Instructions)
Solution:
To resolve this, re-download the installation package that includes the offline content. Then, copy the downloaded family library package into the following folder:
C:ProgramDataAutodeskRVT 2016Libraries
Note that ProgramData is a hidden folder by default. To access it, you need to enable the display of hidden files in your system settings. For Windows 10, open the folder, then click File in the upper left corner and select Change Folder and Search Options. (The process may differ slightly for Windows XP or Windows 7.)
After confirming these settings, the folder and files should become visible.
