How to Draw Circular Ramps in Revit (Part 2)
Using Revit Software
When modeling ramps, start by using the Ramp command.
1. Under the Modify | Create Ramp Sketch tab, draw the boundary line and the kick line as illustrated below.
2. Click on the Properties tab, then select the Edit Type button. Choose Edit to adjust the maximum slope of the ramp. The relevant attributes are shown in the figure.
3. After mirroring the ramp, click on the ramp arrow to change the direction (up or down) at both ends of the ramp, as demonstrated in the image.
4. Select the ramp, then navigate to Modify | Ramp tab. In the clipboard panel, choose the Cut to Clipboard option, as indicated in the figure.
5. Select elevations 2.4 and 6.0 to maintain equal heights, as shown in the illustration.
6. Copy the originally created ramp to the clipboard, then paste it at an odd elevation of 3.5, as depicted in the figure.
7. Finally, adjust the graphic display settings as needed, following the example in the image.
The three-dimensional slope of the ramp is shown below.
