How Revit Handles Model Display Distortion in Projects

How Revit Handles Model Display Distortion in Projects

When working with Revit software, large model volumes can sometimes cause display distortions. Although the model’s position and related attributes remain accurate, these visual distortions can hinder workflow efficiency. For example, as shown in the image below, you may notice noticeable ripples beneath the model. Adjusting visibility, visual styles, refinement, or other settings will not resolve this issue.

How to fix it:

1. In the Project Browser, select all 3D views and press the Delete key to remove them.

2. Create a new 3D view by clicking the default 3D view button on the Quick Access toolbar, or by going to the View tab and selecting Create 3D View from the panel.

Following these steps will eliminate the model distortion problem.
