Updating Hole Positions in Revit MEP Openings

Revit MEP Hole Opening – Refresh Hole Position

Functionality:

1. When pipeline positions are modified or offset during the integration of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and civil engineering models, this tool automatically realigns the openings and sleeves to the updated pipeline positions with a single click.

2. It also supports linked models.

How to Use:

1. Open the Refresh Hole Position tool located on the Hole Opening panel within the Model Deepening tab.

2. Choose the component type for which you want to update the opening and sleeve positions. Available options include wall openings and sleeves, beam openings and sleeves, and slab openings and sleeves.

3. Click OK, then select the pipelines you want to update. You can use box selection to select multiple pipelines. Finally, click the Finish button in the options bar to complete the operation.

Updating Wall Openings and Sleeves:

Refresh the openings and sleeves associated with walls.

Updating Slab Openings and Sleeves:

Refresh the openings and sleeves located on slabs.

Updating Beam Openings and Sleeves:

Refresh the openings and sleeves on beams.
