How to Create New Pipe Sizes in Revit
When working on mechanical and electrical designs for water supply and drainage systems, you might encounter pipes with diameters larger than those available in Revit. In such cases, it’s necessary to add custom pipe sizes. Here, we will guide you through the process of adding new pipe diameters.
First, navigate to the System tab and select Pipeline. This will bring up the properties panel, as shown in the image below.
At this point, you need to select the appropriate pipe section.
After entering the desired pipe size, make sure to check both confirmation options before proceeding.
Next, review the minimum and maximum pipe sizes listed. Change the maximum diameter to the new size you just added. Finally, click OK to complete the process of adding the new pipe diameter.
