AutoCAD ViewCube and Navigation Bar Missing in Specific Viewports

Question:

In some viewports, the navigation bar is set to 1 even though it is not displayed in AutoCAD ViewCube and Navigation Bar.

Reason:

This issue occurs when using the COPY command to duplicate the viewport.

Note that viewports copied through the clipboard using COPYCLIP, PASTECLIP, or the keyboard shortcuts CTRL+C and CTRL+V are not affected.

Solution:

To restore the navigation controls in the affected viewport, follow these steps:

  1. Double-click inside the viewport to activate it.
  2. Type Navwheel and press the Enter key.
  3. Click outside the viewport to deactivate it.
  4. Double-click inside the viewport again to reactivate it.
