Revit 2015 has enhanced its reinforcement capabilities significantly. Previously, commands like regional reinforcement, path reinforcement, and mesh reinforcement were only applicable to concrete components. Now, these functions can also be used on individual parts.

For example, you can select a floor slab and use the Parts command to divide the slab into multiple parts.

Once the slab is split, you will notice that it is divided into several parts based on different material layers.

With Revit 2015, you can directly select a single part and use the Modify Reinforcement command in the panel to add reinforcement specifically to that part.
