To resolve this issue, run the PURGE command and select the option to automatically remove unused data.

Each time you launch the PURGE command, a confirmation dialog box will appear. AutoCAD will then scan for any unused DGN linetypes and clear them from the drawing.

For a quicker process, use the command-line version by entering -PURGE and selecting the Orphaned Data option to instantly remove these linetypes.
