Key MEP Enhancements in Revit 2015: Part 2 Overview

BIM Software Tip: Summary of New MEP Features in Revit 2015 (Part 2)

Design: Trim/Extend Multiple Elements

In Revit 2015, the Trim/Extend Multiple Elements command has been enhanced to support frame selection operations. This improvement significantly streamlines the process of extending multiple elements at once.

You can find the Trim/Extend Multiple Elements command in the Modify panel.

To use this command, first select the target element to which you want to extend, then box-select the elements that need to be extended.

Once the selection is confirmed, all chosen elements will be extended simultaneously to the target element.

Note that the trim/extend command is not limited to ducts and pipes—it also works with various models and detail lines.
