BIM Software Tip: Understanding the Pipe Cap in Revit Structure Foundation
Cap: This parameter defines the base elevation. When enabled in the Family Editor, the base elevation is measured from the highest base surface of the foundation. If not selected, the elevation is calculated from the lowest base surface. An example is illustrated in the figure below:
