BIM Software Tip: Using Revit Curtain Walls as Blinds

Start by creating a metric profile family. Edit the profile as needed and then load it into your project.

Next, create a new curtain wall within the project and add a curtain wall grid.

Select the curtain wall mullion, then in the properties, change the contour to the newly created profile family 1. Click on the grid line to generate the mullion.

Finally, select all the curtain wall elements. In the selection filter, choose only the curtain wall panels, then in the properties drop-down menu, select Empty.

Your blinds are now complete.
