BIM Software Tip: Adding Built-in Families and Materials in REVIT

Step 1: Create the Built-in Model (Built-in Volume)

Step 2: Select the family and click Edit In-Place

Step 3: Select all volumes and link them to family parameters

Step 4: Add parameters and assign names

Step 5: Access the family type, then add materials to the volume

Finally, you can add materials to the internal built-in volume.
