BIM Software Tip: How to Practice Creating Revit Frame Tables
There are two primary methods for creating frame tables in Revit:
First, you can draw straight lines to define the grid size based on your specific dimensions.
Second, you can generate tables automatically by editing detailed tables within the frame family. The process is as follows:
1. Begin by creating a detailed table and adding the desired label fields.
2. Change the height setting in the appearance of the detailed table to “user-defined.” This allows you to manually adjust the height of the detailed table.
3. Drag the detailed table to the desired position within the view.
