Understanding the Revit "Wall Connection Display" Command

BIM Software Tip: About Revit’s “Wall Connection Display” Command

Wall Connection Display

In Revit, you can configure the default behavior for cleaning up wall connections.

If you set it to “Clean up all wall connections,” Revit will automatically clean all wall connections regardless of their wall types.

If you choose “Clean up wall connections of the same type,” Revit will only clean connections between walls of the same type.

When different wall types are connected, Revit Architecture cannot automatically clean them up. In this case, use the Edit Wall Connections tool, which allows you to manually adjust these connections and override the default cleanup settings.

This feature saves time, so you don’t have to adjust each wall connection individually.
