How to Batch Switch Elevations and Grids to 2D Properties in Revit
When working with Revit grids, changing the display style to 2D properties typically affects only the current view. If you have many grids, toggling between 3D and 2D settings one by one can be tedious. Here is a method to batch modify these settings efficiently.
1. After drawing the grid, go to the Properties panel and check the boxes for Crop View and Crop Region Visible.
2. Next, drag the boundary of the crop region box on the side where the 2D grid is located, adjusting it to the desired position to apply the change in bulk.
3. Then, select all the grids and switch each one to 2D properties.
4. Finally, make sure to adjust the position of each grid so that it aligns properly and the crop view settings remain active. This will prevent the grid length from reverting to its original measurement.
