How to Accurately Measure Conduit Lengths in Revit

How to Measure the Length of Conduit in Revit

1. For wire conduits without accessories, you can use the Type Drawn Conduit feature. Utilize the Line Conduit and Pipeline tools, and create a detailed schedule to calculate the total length of the pipeline, including any curved sections.

2. Go to the View tab, then select Schedules or Quantities to create a new detailed schedule.

3. In the Filter section of the schedule properties, choose Electrical under the discipline filter. Then, under Category, select Conduits or Line Conduits, and click OK to confirm.

4. In the Fields tab, add the necessary parameters such as Type and Diameter by selecting them and clicking Add, as shown in the image below.

5. Similarly, include other relevant fields like Length and Total to get a comprehensive overview of the conduits you want to measure.

Now, the total length and diameter of the conduits will be displayed in your schedule.
