MITHRIDATE, a pioneering fashion brand based in London, embraces the creative philosophy of “FASHION FOR ART.” Constantly inspired by drama and theater, the brand crafts a unique space that represents self-identity through exquisite craftsmanship, championing the freedom to dress from the heart. SLT Design aligns with MITHRIDATE’s spirit of “discovering a clear self,” drawing inspiration from the “Sphere” to create a centripetal theater where virtual and real seamlessly merge. This space interprets the vibrancy and immersive atmosphere of the brand, inviting you to become both an observer and a participant in this fashion narrative.

Beginning: Urban Prologue
The new MITHRIDATE space is situated along Linjiang Avenue on the north bank of the Pearl River. It resembles a framed stage embedded within a bustling urban environment, presenting spontaneous expressions of daily fashion aesthetics. The exterior features light gray linear stones that densely cover the facade, evoking the image of a restrained and abstract stage curtain. Inside, a palette of low-saturation sandy tones reflects a minimalist style that harmonizes with timeless wooden classics reminiscent of a theater setting.
Surging night-blue accents break the calm background, while layered, plush metal corrugated panels create a textured atmosphere that feels both concealed and elusive. Mirror-finished metal elements, blending modernity with a muscular feel, are interspersed throughout, reinforcing the brand’s avant-garde identity.

One side of the display window features a lift stage-inspired display device, accentuating the emotional highlights of entry and exit through chasing light effects. On the opposite side, a mirrored wall expands the spatial depth, creating a captivating pause point. Crossing the “fourth wall” of this centripetal theater, reality and illusion intertwine, allowing personal experiences and character identities to collide and reform. Within this rhythmic spatial sequence, visitors are invited to slowly step into a deeper understanding of themselves.

Cheng: The Fusion of Meaning and Mirrors
Opening the spatial curtain along the ceiling track, focused spotlights highlight the semi-circular display area at the forefront, creating a striking contrast of light and shadow. Curved display props combine the form and symbolism of staircases with the spatial concept of a “lifting platform.” The floor, composed of carefully selected blue marble tiles, emulates the texture of a theater’s wooden stage. Layers of lighting, props, and flooring work harmoniously to build tension and drama within the core display zone.

The mirror dramatically extends and reflects the opposite side of the semicircle. Hovering between reality and illusion, MITHRIDATE’s intricate prints and cutting-edge craftsmanship reveal a myriad of shifting scenes, with countless selves overlapping within the reflective surfaces. SLT explores immersive interaction by crafting dynamic perspectives that balance the relatively tight spatial scale of the front area.

Turn: An Improvisational Performance
The flow of movement leads to the main display area, where sparkling, vivid point lights signal scene transitions. The ceiling track system supports diverse exhibition needs with detachable suspension rods and movable mirrored cabinets, inspiring a constantly evolving space that reflects the dynamic nature of daily fashion.

The ripple design motif unifies diverse materials with a shared intention, forming a dense, orderly deep blue curtain that defines the layered spatial interface. It also acts as a soft, rock-colored border curtain that brushes against walls and niches, capturing an inner rhythm.

Harmony: A State of Centripetal Unity
Following the light, visitors encounter a boutique exhibition area enclosed by a blue screen. The flow line is flexibly organized, allowing the stage’s openness or intimacy to be adjusted via movable metal hanging plates and curved suspension rods on a circular ceiling track.
