Lovell International School is an international kindergarten located in Pattaya, Thailand, where children can play and learn among the trees. The site features mature, existing trees that are all quite old. The primary goal of the owners and designers was to preserve as many of these trees as possible while developing the new school.

The design concept begins with a layout that thoughtfully integrates space and form, taking full advantage of the trees on site to create a captivating atmosphere. The design of the treehouse aligns with this vision, making the small structures appear naturally within the forest. The flowing curved architecture carefully avoids existing trees, creating courtyards and dividing spaces based on age groups.
The ground floor is divided into three main wings: one for children under three years old, a kindergarten area, and an enrollment section.

Each wing includes its own playground, complemented by outdoor learning spaces located behind the classrooms. The teaching buildings are enveloped by lush greenery. Indoor play areas in front of each classroom are interconnected, allowing for flexible use during adverse conditions such as high PM2.5 pollution, heavy rain, or intense tropical sunlight.
On the upper level, the treehouse and multipurpose hall accommodate various functions including cooking classes, art sessions, and a soft gym. The spacious area beneath the eaves hosts numerous play structures, creating diverse play zones like hideouts, climbing frames, and adventure spaces.

Inside, the school features a warm wooden atmosphere that makes all halls and indoor play areas feel like cozy small wooden houses. Classrooms are predominantly white, creating a bright and comfortable environment conducive to learning.
The landscape is divided into several zones, each designed around the existing trees. Separate play areas are provided for children younger and older than three years old. Behind the classrooms, green spaces allow for agricultural education and waste recycling activities.
The water play area includes a swimming and recreation pool, where children can enjoy various water activities. The densest forested section of the site is designed as a forest-like play area, encouraging adventurous exploration.
