The design of the MYS Khaoyai Hotel draws inspiration from the rich natural beauty surrounding Khao Yai National Park. It embraces the concept of an “elevated ground,” offering guests an immersive experience that harmonizes with the lush environment of the park.

Our design applies the ‘elevated ground’ concept to create a unique user experience, allowing guests to fully enjoy the national park’s surroundings. Despite spatial limitations, each room is crafted as a stacked luxury forest cabin, featuring a suite with a private green balcony. All rooms are spacious suites, complete with living areas, bathrooms, balconies, and even integrated trees.

The centerpiece of the hotel is a remarkable nine-meter-long transparent swimming pool that cantilevers above the reception area. This design allows guests to enjoy breathtaking mountain views while feeling fully connected to nature. Swimming in this cantilevered pool gives the sensation of swimming towards the sky. Under the expert guidance of structural engineer and aquarium designer Reynolds, the pool is fully transparent and engineered to minimize supporting columns.

The transparent aerial swimming pool represents a significant technological achievement, advancing the capabilities of both architecture and engineering. This stunning feature offers visitors the unique experience of “swimming towards the sky” through the cantilevered structure, showcasing innovative engineering expertise.
