Important Information for Candidates of the 8th National BIM Level Exam Before the Test

The 8th National BIM Level Examination will take place on June 4th and 5th. As the designated BIM exam center authorized by the Graphic Society, BIM Architecture Network will host the exam simultaneously in Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shijiazhuang. Candidates registering through the BIM Architecture website should note the following details:

Exam Schedule:

June 4th: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM (BIM Level 1)

June 5th: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM (BIM Level 2)

Exam Locations:

Beijing Campus: 11th Floor, Left Bank Industrial Society, No. 68 North Fourth Ring West Road, Haidian District, Beijing

Guangzhou Campus: Room 515, Engineering South Building, Guangzhou University, No. 230 Outer Ring West Road, Xiaoguwei University, Guangzhou

Shijiazhuang Campus: Room 4320, 4th Floor, China Railway Business Plaza, No. 56 Yuhua East Road, Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province

Important Notes for Candidates:

1. Please arrive at the exam room 40 minutes early to collect your admission ticket.
2. Strictly follow the exam room rules and regulations.
3. Manage your time carefully due to the exam’s extensive content.

Exam Room Rules:

1. Candidates must enter the exam room 20 minutes before the scheduled start. Those arriving more than 15 minutes late will be disqualified. Candidates may only submit their papers and leave after 30 minutes from the exam start.
2. Seating is assigned in a staggered manner (cross seat, cross row, cross seat). Follow the instructions of the exam supervisor and invigilators. Non-compliance may lead to disqualification.
3. Only bring your ID card, admission ticket, and necessary stationery into the exam room. These items should be placed in the upper right corner of your desk for inspection. Books, notes, papers, backpacks, communication devices, and storage devices are prohibited. Borrowing stationery during the exam is not allowed unless explicitly permitted by an invigilator.
4. Start answering questions only after the official exam signal is given. Maintain silence throughout the exam, avoid any unnecessary movement, and do not leave the room without submitting your exam papers.
5. If you encounter issues such as unclear printing or handwriting on the exam questions, raise your hand to notify the invigilator. However, questions about the content of the exam are not permitted.
6. Cheating or assisting others to cheat is strictly forbidden and will result in penalties according to regulations.

Examples of Cheating:

1. Having someone else take the exam on your behalf or taking the exam for someone else.
2. Copying answers from neighboring candidates.
3. Bringing unauthorized materials such as books, notes, or papers into or out of the exam room, regardless of whether they have been used.
4. Carrying communication devices (e.g., mobile phones) or portable storage devices (e.g., USB drives, external hard drives) after the exam.
5. Passing notes during the exam.
6. Altering exam papers or whispering during submission.
7. Any other forms of dishonest behavior.

If an invigilator detects cheating, a warning will be issued immediately. Any confirmed cheating, regardless of circumstances or attitude, will result in a zero score for the exam.

At the end of the exam, candidates must stop working immediately and submit their papers as instructed by the invigilator. Failure to submit on time may lead to the exam paper being rejected, and the invigilator’s decision will be final.
