00 Departure: Exploring Parallel Cosmos Representing Future Time and Space
The exploration of infinite time and space is one of humanity’s most fundamental collective desires. In today’s post-technological era, this longing has evolved into an ambitious vision of the future. Urban dwellers often dream of venturing into space, becoming part of countless stars, or boldly plunging into black holes—contrasting our limited three-dimensional perspective with an endless expanse of past and future.
Holiland Travel has arrived in Lujiazui, Pudong, Shanghai, a pinnacle of urban civilization evolution. Here, Holiland’s baking creativity meets SLT’s futuristic narrative space design, sparking boundless inspiration. Elements like metal mirrors, meteorite bars, floating engines, and alien invasions combine to spread a fresh baking concept, offering sweet taste experiences while inviting travelers to explore the boundaries of time and space and envision the future.

01 Foreign Object Invasion: Visual Signs of Cognitive Future Space and Time
The space-time “rift” of parallel universes briefly appears in the real world, distorting space and altering our perception of time. Infinite linear light strips symbolize the intense cosmic gravity of wormholes. Through an outer observation porthole, glimpses of other times and spaces pull observers into an imaginative stroll through parallel universes. Though still on Earth, the mind has already ventured beyond.

From the psychological entry into the cabin to immersion in another realm, the central crater acts as the singular “black hole” linking parallel universes and Earth. It serves as the strongest gravitational field in hyperspace travel. Here, the vast and intangible universe shrinks to a human scale, allowing time travelers to observe parallel universes from a godlike perspective. The crater transports spacecraft and meteorites, channeling energy from other dimensions. Circular LED screens display images of foreign meteorite invasions, while programmable light gradients and weightless suspended spacecraft create rare, immersive elements that clearly evoke a space adventure.
At the spacecraft transit station, foreign objects appear to invade and collide with vessels. Islands suspended in the orbit of a black hole are embedded with meteorites of various materials, doubling as display platforms for soft dots, cakes, and toast. This creates a sweet, weightless paradise of zero-gravity suspension. Ground markings trace the coordinates of foreign object intrusions, adding to the immersive narrative.

A time-space conveyor belt collects and transports matter from different eras penetrating the time-space channel. It presents three-dimensional forms of invading foreign objects before passengers, allowing time travelers to select various materials. This serves as a witness to the supply of sweet ingredients from Holiland across time and space.

02 Metamorphic Energy: Experiencing a Dynamic Universe in Static Objects
Surfaces, mirrors, trajectory lines, and suspended objects disrupt the conventional perception of linear time, constructing an order of parallel universes. These elements introduce new spatial rules, suggesting that different directions in space may be continuous, and that parallel spaces might correspond and translate into one another. Suspended islands, frozen at the moment of the Big Bang after rotations, accelerations, and weightlessness, carry varying degrees of momentum, capturing eternal moments of motion. The circular overhead screen displays meteorites and other suspended objects, symbolizing the infinite reciprocal motion within parallel universes.

Travelers can relax in the spaceplane waiting area, a relatively stable zone within a parallel universe. The space of grid moments surrounds visitors. Outside the window, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower stands to the front right, while a meteorite rests on the left—reminiscent of the scene in “Star Trek” where a father accidentally knocks a book off his daughter’s shelf. Inside, the parallel universe scene blends with the real world visible through the window, creating a vivid dialogue between two spatial dimensions. Within this overlap, conflict, and tension between futuristic narratives and modern reality, time travelers discover inspiration, igniting passion and imagination for the future world. Meanwhile, the real world continuously evolves within this ‘distant reality’ of imagination.

03 Return to Flight: Inspiring the Real World with Transcendent Space and Time
Seated in the return capsule, passengers find themselves docked within a hyperspace secret realm. Surrounded by curved mirror reflections, they see themselves returning from beyond three-dimensional space into another distorted space-time. This experiential journey—from the observation point at Holiland Travel’s start to the return capsule at its end—blends digital modal space with real physical space, achieving a cross-media expression. Visitors’ stays, photos, and check-ins combine to create a layered, composite shopping experience, expanding possibilities for sharing the Holiland cosmology. As travelers leave their footprints in this secret realm and return to Earth through the wormhole, they look forward to the next adventure on their journey.

From WEB 2.0 to WEB 3.0, the metaverse has added a spatial dimension to the classic Internet’s timeline, reaching its upper limits. It offers users a new experience and value through expanded space-time. Within the Zeroplus plot in Sandbox Mega City HK New City, SLT Design created a 1:1 construction and real-time twin experience for Holiland Travel space, exploring the boundaries of spatial expression and metaverse interaction within the context of future narratology.
