Serving as a flagship for the Levantine Hill brand, the Levantine Hill Estate winery combines nearby wine cellars and restaurants to offer a comprehensive wine experience. Visitors can enjoy vineyard tours, events, tastings, and exhibition spaces all in one location. The design pays homage to the winemaking process by integrating state-of-the-art facilities with a fully functional space inspired by the serene farmland and foothills associated with grape cultivation and wine production.

Levantine Hill Estate has established itself as a must-visit destination for both wine lovers and design enthusiasts. This winery enriches the distinctive character of the Yarra Valley, drawing tourists to engage with the region’s culture and elevating its hospitality offerings.

The design draws inspiration from the surrounding pastoral landscape, celebrating the deep connection between the land and winemaking. By visually blending the architecture with the rolling terrain and employing materials consistent with local buildings, the project achieves harmony with its natural and agricultural environment.

The winery’s arched structure features galvanized steel purlins and corrugated iron cladding, reflecting the vineyard environment. The curved black steel frame echoes the traditional arched dome, framing views of the vineyard and complementing the adjacent wine cellar door.

The brewing facility, with an annual capacity of 250 tons, integrates seamlessly with an underground wine cellar, creating a main reception hall beneath the arch. During the design process, a pavilion with a barrel-shaped dome was added, enhancing the space’s versatility.

Inspired by agricultural architecture, the architects selected durable materials such as natural raw materials combined with steel, concrete, and polished stone to ensure longevity and aesthetic appeal. The overall vision is to elevate the winery and region into a world-class wine-producing area, complemented by world-class architecture.
