Since construction began in 2013, the LUMA Arles campus in France has transformed a 27-acre former industrial park into a vibrant creative hub. Situated in Arles, this project aims to foster a future-oriented creative community by bringing together artists and creators.

The centerpiece of the park is the LUMA Arles Building, designed by Canadian architect Frank Gehry, who is based in Los Angeles. This building houses multiple exhibition galleries, display spaces, research and archive management facilities, workshops, and cafés.

Additionally, the park features six historic industrial building ruins. Five of these have been renovated and updated by New York-based German architect Annabelle Selldorf, transforming them into art installations, exhibition spaces, and artist residences.

The entire art and creative park is nestled within a larger public park designed by Belgian landscape architect Bas Smets.
