In this beginner’s tutorial for Revit, we will explore the Project Information feature. Our focus will be on how to properly enter project information within Revit. Let’s dive into the step-by-step guide on using Revit’s project information effectively!

Accessing Revit Project Information:
First, click on the Management tab in the ribbon.
Then, locate the Settings panel and select Project Information.
Within the Instance Properties dialog box, you will need to specify the following details:
- Energy Setting: Define the parameters that will be exported to the gbXML file.
- Project Release Date
- Project Status
- Customer Name
- Project Address: Click “Edit”, enter the address in the text box, then click “OK”.
- Project Name
- Project Number
After filling in all the necessary fields, click OK to save your project information.
This project information is integrated into schedules that include details about elements in linked models. Additionally, it can be displayed in the title bar of your drawings.
