BIM Techniques: How to Quickly Create Skirting Lines in Revit for Interior Decoration

One effective method for quickly creating baseboards in Revit

Skirting boards can be drawn along with walls in just four simple steps.

First, create a new wall and open the wall type properties by navigating to Type Properties > Edit Structure, as shown below:

Second, add decorative elements to the wall based on your design requirements. Click on the wall’s decorative strip to highlight it in blue.

Third, click the Add button and select the profile contour. You can customize the contour by loading your own profile if needed.

Finally, adjust the material and offset distance to complete the skirting board in one step.
