In today’s fast-paced, high-stress urban environment, many people experience cumulative sub-health conditions, deeply affecting their daily lives. Nestled in Ningbo New CBD’s eastern new city, the L-shaped glass box facing the street offers a hidden sanctuary. Designed by Hangzhou Wangweihang Interior Design Co., Ltd., this retreat provides an escape from the relentless urban rush.

Blending Light, Shadow, and Nature
The wooden grille elements evoke memories of seaside cottages or cliffside retreats. Throughout the reception hall, sunlight filters through these grilles at varying angles, casting dynamic patterns of light and shadow. This thoughtful arrangement minimizes visual distractions from the bustling street outside. Strategically placed greenery enhances the natural ambiance, while sound mimicking devices replicate the gentle sea breeze, rustling leaves, and occasional bird songs, creating a soothing auditory experience throughout the space.

The floor surrounding the central hall is layered with sand, gravel, and stones, immersing guests in a natural setting. Relaxing on solid-colored sofas within this wooden grid structure, visitors experience a harmonious blend of light, sound, visual elements, and tactile sensations—an instant journey into nature’s tranquility.

Day to Night: Flickering Fireflies
As night falls, scattered candles nestled within the low wooden grilles are lit. Their soft, flickering light dances gently across the space, resembling fireflies that envelop the entire hall, creating a magical, intimate atmosphere.

Unlike the daytime interplay of light and shadow, candlelight becomes the primary ambient lighting for the hall at night, transitioning the space seamlessly from day to night and enhancing its intimate atmosphere.

The reception area features a central island-style bar counter, which serves as the visual focal point of the hall. Behind it, the main backdrop proudly displays the brand’s identity.

Behind the backdrop wall lie three functional zones: the pantry, dressing room, and skin-testing room. These areas support the main functions of the center and SPA treatments, seamlessly integrating with the surrounding environment.

Calm and Focused SPA Experience
Through a long corridor, guests transition from the soft, welcoming reception hall to private, secluded SPA spaces. The design avoids flashy shapes and harsh lighting, prioritizing the user’s sensory experience and comfort.
