Organized by the Vocational Skills Appraisal Center under the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, this exam aligns with official directives such as the Notice on Carrying out Computer Information High-Tech Training and Assessment (Ministry of Labor No. 19) and Document No. 18 from the Labor and Social Security Administration.
This examination forms an essential part of the national vocational appraisal and qualification system. It evaluates the practical skills of professionals working in computer and information technology fields. The primary goal is to promote the widespread adoption and application of high-tech solutions across China. The exam is demand-driven, application-focused, and designed to assess proficiency with specific devices and software through standardized tasks.
By passing the exam, candidates demonstrate their operational competence in high-tech computer applications, which helps improve workforce efficiency and technology utilization. Successful candidates receive a standardized certificate issued by the Vocational Skills Appraisal Center, serving both as a vocational qualification and proof of computer proficiency. This certificate is recognized for job placement in roles requiring computer skills and is used in employment and vocational assessments.
According to Document No. 63 from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, those who pass the exam receive a qualification certificate that reflects their level of computer operation skills. The certificate is accepted as a job credential in relevant occupations with access control requirements. Furthermore, individuals who earn operator and senior operator qualifications through this exam are recognized as having intermediate and senior technical levels within China, with their rights and benefits governed by applicable regulations.
