BIM Q&A | Which Agencies Offer BIM Certification? Can You Affiliate with One to Earn Income?
Currently, BIM certification is offered by several organizations, including the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Vocational Skills Appraisal and Guidance Center for Talents in the Electronic Communication Industry under the same ministry, the Chinese Society of Graphics, the China Construction Education Association, and the International Construction Management Society (ICM).
Regarding affiliation, BIM certifications cannot be affiliated at this time. These certificates primarily serve as proof of your personal skills and are important benchmarks in talent evaluation processes. Whether affiliation options will be available in the future remains uncertain.
Among the various certificates, the National Information BIM Engineer Certificate currently holds the highest value. Its designation as a “national” certificate makes it widely recognized and commonly used as a standard qualification.
