Start > Run > type dcomcnfg to open Component Services. Navigate to Computer > My Computer > DCOM Config. Locate Microsoft Excel Application, right-click and select Properties. Under the Security tab, choose Custom for all three access options, then add “Everyone” to the user list and grant full permissions.
