BIM Q&A | Who Are the Target Audiences for BIM Modeling Engineers at the Exam Center
1. All citizens of the People’s Republic of China must comply with national laws and regulations and uphold professional ethics. Eligible candidates include college students majoring in engineering, engineering economics, finance, management, computer science, and related fields, as well as professionals with vocational education or higher engaged in engineering project design, construction technology, and management. These individuals who meet the registration requirements can apply to take the Building Information Modeling (BIM) series of professional skills exams.
2. In addition to the basic eligibility above, applicants for the BIM series exams must meet at least one of the following conditions:
- College students who have completed courses covering BIM-related theoretical knowledge and practical skills;
- Professionals involved in architectural design, construction technology, or management who have mastered BIM theoretical knowledge and operational skills;
- Social professionals who have gained BIM knowledge through systematic self-study or participation in BIM theory and practice courses.
Those who meet the above requirements can apply for the BIM Modeling Technology Exam. The exam consists of three subjects: Introduction to BIM Technology, BIM Modeling Application Technology, and BIM Design and Construction Comprehensive Skills and Practice.
